Thanks to our research we were able to identify which phases of the work process we could optimise with our software. As already shown we identified three main pain points:
Since then our goal was to develop a platform able to manage, completely digitally, the home care department of the San Severo's hospital.
To develop our app, FileMaker has been the ideal software. FileMaker is Claris' development platform, an Apple subsidiary, which, in one solution, allows to develop both the database and the user interface of the app you are building.
This solution's advantage is also the compatibility with more platforms. The app developed can be deployed via Web, on iOS, Mac and Windows.
During the Covid-19 emergency Claris started and promoted the Claris' response to Covid-19, a worthy initiative to grant free FileMaker licenses to support projects aiming to help workers in the education and health fields.
This initiative has been the key of our work, it fuelled our enthusiasm and facilitated the birth of our project.
Thanks to Douglas Wallis, Brandon Love and Marie Normand, we opened a conversation with Claris, immediately receiving their support and a license to use their software.

Then they presented us to Join::table, a no profit organisation with the purpose to put in contact schools and health services with FileMaker developers, volunteering their skills for benevolent purposes. We had the opportunity to talk with Chris Kubica and Makah Encarnacao, the two founders, and they also offered all the support we needed, in doing that also presenting us to Giuseppe Francica, a senior developer with more than 30 years of experience with FileMaker, who has been for us a precious guide along the whole development of our software.
